Yea, so I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to posting pics and the like, so if one of you smrt ppl can follow this link and just nab the pic to post it wont re-direct to an adult site

rightclick on image->save to desktop. Type "free image hosting" in google, select any site you ever heard about. Click upload. Paste link here. What Nive did above is actually uploading photo and thumbnail of photo, then combining them into clickable pic. Enjoy ;-)

It took me straight to an XXX site. I know you didn't intend for that to happen, but UGH!

*Removed Link from Niv's post in case we actually have minors in our guild registered on the forum*
*Since Niv had pic from the mentioned above link is his reply i then removed the link from Firstens post*
*Replaced Link in Niv's Post with one that is the direct path to the intended pic that was supposed to be viewed -- without it redirecting while still hosted on the original site hosting it*
To get the direct path of the image I just used an addon I had installed in the copy of Firefox on my main computer to view the pages source code and set it to wrap long lines.

I can't help but laugh over this thread. Gotta say, I was glad to see those links removed. Uhhh, when Niv said any website you heard about, well, I don't think he meant THAT site. An alternative to Niv's instructions is a direct upload. The storage is pretty lax on this forum site, so don't worry about the file size, unless it is over a Mb. For the sake of learning, use this link: www.arcada.nl/dragon.html Right click on any of the images and choose Save Image As: --- Save it to your desktop so you can find it. Use reply on this post. At the top, choose the browse button. Go to your desktop and double click on the picture you saved. Put what you want in the text box and hit Post Reply. Attachments:

Uh, are you sure you "fixed" it the right way? I had the photo uploaded to external image hosting site, now you changed the link to point to photo hosted on xxx site, and I'm not taking responsibility if their server suddenly redirects it to more xxx. What you exacly did was change (neutral image hosting site) to (xxx site) and that's a BAD idea. For our minor's sake, I'm changing that back, please don't break it again. I didn't break anything I repaired it. Like I said your link did redirecting to main pafe of XXX the revised one I had went directly to the pic which happened to be on the XXX site. With mine noone would have to click a single thing other then the link to view the image because it wouldnt redirect if the direct path is provided which it was. I think he was talking to Firsten, not you, Ceal. When I went to the site, there was no image to grab unless it had malware in it that my security software auto-blocked.

He was definitely talking to me since he said "are you sure you "fixed" it the right way?....please don't break it again" and I was the one who had made his link go directly to picture hosted on that site instead of people seeing the front page it was on which did the redirecting when people try to click on it.
Edit: Fixed minor grammer issue (capitalizing 2 letters that should have been)

wow, all that and not one comment about the actual pic There was no pic on the page you posted. There was a bar at the bottom and two enter buttons. Nothing behind them.

@cealdor: 1. Firsten's post had link to xxx site. You removed that - ok. In your comment you refer to it as Nive post, but ok, mistakes happen, so I ignored it. 2. You replaced link in my post leading to tinypic with one leading to xxx site. I have no damn clue why would you do that, so I pointed that out and repaired the link. In case it isn't clear: - my link led to image hosting site, where I personally uploaded the image, twice. - your link led to original image on xxx site, and as I said, I do not take responsibility for server redirections that could happen and replaced it with safe link. There is something called mod rewrite, and it takes one line "*.jpg xxx_advert.html" to redirect all incoming links to adult site (I'm actually surprised they don't have one yet, but this can change). Please re-read the whole topic, then clean up the useless garbage in here. There is no point in discussing the links, enjoy the safely hosted pic. - No it was correct I did it chronologically I did the thing on yours first and then removed Firstens link
- I did because your link screwed up when I clicked it before I changed it (the pic wasn't coming up so I just put the link to the original host there with the direct path so nobody would see a thing other then the intended picture
- Already did while still having the whole conversation viewable with a minimal number of posts. Also you are right it is useless discussing links however our discussion of them certainly added additional Comedy to the thread

The way you replaced the link was unsafe, please don't do it again.
We should also yell at Firsten for coming up with that site ;-). But the image is nice, I sure could use some "funny" buttons on my keyboard. Actually, I'm going to assign trap macro to one of keys asap xd.
